i am still in awe of the love and support we've received during this amazing journey. Today at work we had this woman come in (she comes in every couple moths to meet with my boss ~ something with accounting), and she and i have gotten to be friends. Anyway, she's thrilled for us, and we haven't seen each other since we got our referral. Today when she came in she brought me a bouquet of flowers!! HOW SWEET IS SHE!?!?
And last weekend we were surprised by two other friends, who swung by the house! They were in the area ~ or maybe they came out just to see us... I'm not sure, as i was in the bedroom frantically trying to 1) find something presentable to wear and 2) trying to calm my insane bed head! I found clothes, but the hair was another matter. LOL!! I swear, the shorter my hair, the funkier it looks in the morning. Actually, i should be honest, it was probably closer to 2pm that they stopped by (normally people would have been dressed/showered by then). But we were doing Phase 3 of cleaning up and getting things ready for our kiddos (read: cleaning out closets, getting donation piles together as well as cleaning the basement....).
ANYWAY.
They stopped by and we were able to show them all our pictures and the video we have, as well as show them their bedrooms! It was so great!! Such a fun surprise! Then they surprised me even more by giving me the most incredible necklace. It's a silver circle with the shape of Africa stamped in it. The best part... it has two little hearts with "A" and "Z" stamped on it!! It completely blew me away.

We are so blessed to be surrounded by people who love us and care so much for us and for our kids. It's overwhelming at times ~ in such a beautiful way.
