A Few Pictures.

Thanks to my new friend, Caleb David, and his non-profit organization, One Child Campaign, I have some fun pictures to show you!!! But first, take a minute to check out what One Child is up to, it’s pretty sweet. And no, he didn’t make me say this :~) i just think its a neat ministry.

One Child Campaign is a ministry outreach of Faith Central Ministries. The vision of the Orphan Awareness and Vision trips is to create a united effort of ministries to give voice to the over 4.3 million orphans in Ethiopia. This will be accomplished through sponsorship, empowerment and discipleship that will meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the children. This trip will immerse you into the lives of orphans and street kids. It will create an experience that will raise awareness not only to the orphan, but also for the body of Christ to realize the impact it can have through adoption. An important part of our ministry is to provide resources and funds for adoptive families. This is a mission to raise up a generation with selfless faith. Together, we can breathe hope into the orphan crisis.

The pictures below were taken on their last vision trip. I thought it’d be fun to post a few pictures every now and again to show you bits and pieces of Ethiopia and where our little man will be from. i want to post them all but will show some restraint, and will only post 3 for now. How gorgeous are those mountains???

When Boz and i saw this picture of the boys last night, it made us so happy we were laughing! What a cute bunch of boys. It made me want to adopt an older boy even more. Seriously, how could you not want to? Look at their faces. No, for real. Take a minute, click on the picture to enlarge it, and actually look at each individual boy. These are the kids my heart aches for. These are the ones that are being left behind. It hurts to know that many adoptive families won't even consider adopting an older boy. Older girls, yes. Older boys, not so much. It seems their only chance at being adopted is if they have a cute baby sister.. i dunno. it makes me sad. LOL! We haven't adopted yet, but I'm already looking forward to going back and seeing what we can do about these cuties.
