As you can see, there’s not much going on around here (aside from the scary interview – LOL!). However, we do have a few AWAA families over in Ethiopia right now meeting/picking up their little ones who could use some prayer. As you know I’m connected to (and have connected with) a bunch of wonderful families adopting through our agency via their Yahoo Group. When I checked my email there were a ton of emails about some families in need of prayer regarding their embassy appointments.
Here’s a copy of one of the emails. Please join us in praying these little ones home, and for roadblocks to be removed, documents to be found, whatever is needed to get these families to pass their embassy appointments!
I just chatted w/ Lori Laughner, and she asked me to post prayers requests for all the families there for embassy right now.
Lori needs prayer for her embassy appointment! There has been a mix-up with paperwork, and she may not be able to come home w/ T. till next week at the earliest. If everything cannot be sorted out by next week, she may have to leave T. at the Transition House until they have another embassy appointment. As you can imagine, having to take an older child back to the TH could be devastating.
They are going, uninvited, to the embassy tomorrow at 9 a.m....we need to cover this time in prayer, that the embassy official would hear their case.
Also, without going into any detail, there are embassy issues for the other families, as well, and we are flat-out in need of MIRACLES for these families and these kids, so that they can come home now instead of waiting again at the TH until everything can be sorted out at the embassy.
Embassy miracles, Lord...please make a way where there seems to be no way! You know the plans that you have for these kids and their families, and we're asking to work on their behalf! Do what is right in your eyes, Lord!
Thanks, prayer warriors!
