10/7/11 - Flew to ETHIOPIA!

9/26/11 - Received Addendum and sent it off to be Authenticated (once it was state certified in Indy)

8/??/11 - Contact SW to have an Addendum added to our Home Study

8/19/11 - TICKETS CAME in the MAIL!!!!

6/15/11 - WE GOT THE CALL!!! SIBLINGS!!!!

11/26/10 - Received Corrected I-171H

11/13/10 - Evening in Ethopia Dinner ($8,805 raised!)

11/10/10 - Dossier Arrived in ETHIOPIA!

11/07/10 - Read for Orphans Ends ($595 raised!)

11/04/10 - DTE! DOSSIER TO ETHIOPIA!

10/31/10 - Made copies and sent in our Dossier

10/27/10 - Received our I171H

10/22-23/10 - Volleyball Tournament ($2,185.50 raised!)

10/4/10 - Biometrics Appointment!!

9/21/10 - Received our State Certified Documents!!

9/8/10 - RECEIVED OUR HOME STUDY!

9/3/10 - Jody's Last Background Check Done

9/2/10 - HOME STUDY FINALIZED!

8/15/10 - LAST MEETING w/ Social Worker!

8/14/10 - ALL Reference Letters are IN and Notarized!

8/11/10 - Docs Notarized!

7/27/10 - 1st Reference Letter Came In!

7/19/10 - Physicals/Blood Work

7/11/10 - HOME STUDY MEETING AT OUR HOUSE!

7/8-10/10 - Garage Sale Fundraiser ($2,882 raised!)

6/11 & 18/10 - We received our Passports

6/11-12/10 - Garage Sale FUNdraiser ($843 raised!)

5/29/10 - HOME STUDY ORIENTATION!!!

5/27/10 - Accepted by our Home Study Agency - St. Elizabeth

5/21/10 - Changed Home Study Agency (filled out application); Received copies of Marriage License, Divorce Decree and Birth Certificates

5/14/10 - Assigned to a Family Coordinator; Decided on a Home Study Agency

5/12/10 - Completed Hague-Compliant Training

5/10/10 - Agreement Paperwork and Payment Received

5/6/10 - Mailed back Agreement and Initial Program Fee

5/5/10 - Application APPROVED!

5/3/10 - AWAA contacted us for more information

4/20/10 - Submitted Online Application to AWAA

We PASSED COURT!!!

Many of you know this by now (from facebook)…. But…

WE PASSED COURT!!!!

I got a call on my cell from Kristen at 9:22 this morning and could barely hear what she was saying (I get terrible reception at work). All I heard was “court” and I immediately told her I had to call her back. So I did. Only in my excitement I dialed the wrong number – grrr… After trying again, I got a hold of her and heard the words, “Congratulations, you passed court!” BE STILL MY HEART!!! In a matter of seconds, we went from a married couple, to being a FAMILY of FOUR!!!

We are so proud to introduce you to our CHILDREN…

These are the two cutest kids I've ever seen!! WOW! They are precious!! I am so excited for you guys!!

Praying that you clear embassy with record speed and these babies are home SOON SOON SOON!!

I can't wait to see you guys again and meet these precious babies!!! : ) YAY!!!
